Podcasts

I started recording and producing my own podcasts for fun back in 2014. I enjoy the sound design process and putting together shows that tell a a fluid narrative. Below are some examples of ongoing projects I am involved with…

The GiGly (2025)

Your weekly guide to all the hottest gigs in Perth, Western Australia. Every Thursday we break down new tour announcements, who’s playing where, and shine a light on a local artist making waves in our backyard. No more FOMO or scrambling for tickets, we’ve done the research so you don’t miss a show. If you live for live music, subscribe and stay in the loop with Perth’s best shows, every week.

Born from a small crew of live-music lovers, The GiGly is a passion project dedicated to spreading the word about all the great shows coming to Perth.

Created along with Tina Hall-Johnston and Jayde Harding.

Crossed Wires (2022)

My first podcast I did had many iterations. It started as a way for me to talk about guitar gear and it since evolved into more of comedy than anything else.

There are only two episodes that are still on the airwaves.

If you are familiar with the TEN YEARS guitar pedal then I suggest you give it a listen as I demo’d the pedal on guitar, synthesizer, bass, and a Linn Drum machine.

I even interviewed the creator of the pedal Gus Pancakes, along with Josh from JHS pedals, and members of Paramore and the Strokes.

Field Recordings

I started getting more into field recording back in 2018 as a way to connect more with the outside world. I tend to use a lot of found sounds in my music as background ambience. I quickly got into a mindset to record everything and have now built an extensive library of sounds from nature, animals, cities, and bizarre instruments. I have yet to go through all of them but what you will find here are some of my personal favorites.
