Patrick Benson is a musician, technician, writer, producer and audio specialist with more than two decades of experience. Specializing in guitar and electronic systems, he brings a rare blend of musicality, engineering knowledge, and road tested reliability to every production he joins.

  • Patrick began his career playing guitar in hardcore  punk bands, touring internationally with the bands Polar Bear Club and Tigers Jaw while developing the hands-on problem-solving skills that would define his technical approach. He later studied Music Recording Technology and Jazz Guitar at Finger Lakes College in Canandaigua, New York, further grounding his work in both performance and audio fundamentals.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Benson refined his craft working under Erik Baily at  Uniform Music. It was there that he deepened his expertise in instrument repair and setups, as well as building advanced touring rigs.

Since then Benson has become a sought-after technician, working on major productions for headlining acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Beck, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Morrissey, St. Vincent, and more.

When he is not on the road, Benson  produces original solo music, performs live, produces podcast and continues to expand his knowledge of instruments and technology.
